Ahh!! I was wondering what to read next! Have you ever read any of Gary D. Schmidt's books? The Wednesday Wars, The Labors of Hercules Beal, etc.? Totally different genre, but if you can't read and just want to listen, there are some great recording free on Hoopla or something similar from the library. They are young adult books with Shakespeare's plays and John James Audubon's art and the Greek Myths and modern life all woven together, and easier for me to absorb when I might not be able to think through something denser. Praying for you.
I am so sorry to hear you are enduring chemotherapy, Denise. You are in my prayers and Mass intentions for a cure.
I also am sorry to hear about the chemo. I will pray for you, Denise.
So sorry to hear you are going through chemo. May the Lord bless you and grant you quick healing.
Hoping the chemo isn’t too brutal. Thank you for the list. Caryll Houslander is a treasure
Hope you feel better!
Also, sooooo glad you’ve discovered the joys of reading Tom Wolfe. :)
So wicked, wicked funny! I love him!
Thanks for your booklist. Will try the ones I’m not familiar with…Continuing prayers for you, Denise.
