The Franciscan friar’s chapel I adore in on Friday nights one a week was very start last night when I first walked in with everything thing covered. But, at the heart of the chapel is this beautiful Gold monstrance. Last night it struck me that with everything covered in the altar and and the chapel the only thing I could focus on was our Lord in the monstrance shining in a glittering of gold and his Eucharistic heart in the center of it with His loving rays pouring out and bringing light to a very solemn location. Christ Jesus truly is the light of the world!
Oh, Denise, I do not doubt as you write your sentiments such as "...delighting in the feel of wetness on skin. The wind on the back of his neck as it flows through His hair..." a tear or two or more flow down your grinning cheeks - to choose words that expand your heart - and ours. Thanks for a gorgeous tale, once again.
