What a wonderful experience this must have been for you.

I am lucky to be in a good parish in (of all places) New York City.

Where is your parish?

Ah, St. Louis.

My great-great grandfather, Dr. Moses Linton, is one of the three laymen memorialized in mosaics the Basilica on Lindell Boulevard.

My forebearer arrived in St. Louis as a Methodist; decades later he died as a fervent, believing Catholic.

When I'm in St. Louis, I make it a point to sit under the my great-great grandfather's arch (on the right side, entering the Basilica) when I go to Mass.

I am enjoying tagging along as you share glimpses into the beautiful liturgy at your parish. The center altar-piece and stained glass windows are exquisite. So wonderful that this beauty is being brought out into the community for all to see! Love that even the community garden in an urban setting can be apart of the Rogation Day tradition. Talk about blooming where you are planted! Thank you.

What is the name of the St. Louis parish you attend? I am from St. Louis originally and would love to attend when I visit the city soon. Laurie Veihman
