Wow! you are blessed, Denise. We were blessed too, growing up in a family of nine kids, 6 girls and 3 boys. Dad was into movies, etc. so we grew up watching lots of movies. When I left Burma in 1981, TV was just starting, which was good overall since we spent our childhood outdoors, friends, etc. He was very outspoken even though we were in a Socialist country. Unlike some Chinese families, he loved his daughters no end. Thank you for that, Dad. Gave us lots of confidence. We were a handful for our brothers especially our youngest.
You had a most amazing dad! How did your mom handle him? As he sounds like a handful! Always up to something!! My dad had some of that spirit. He was double jointed and would sit at the dinner table with both legs back around his neck sometimes. My mother, who was trying to instill manners in her growing brood, would be rather put out. We would all be giggling and trying various stunts too.
😂😂😂 your Dad sounds like a hoot. My mom was a little spitfire of a woman with a sharp French wit. They fit each other well. Though he DID terrify her with his handstands in precarious places!
What a blessing to have an earthly father that mirrors the Heavenly Father.
A beautiful tribute! And wonderful memories! You are blessed!!❤️
I love this! Thank you.

He sounds like a wonderful Dad! Daughters need dads like him to grow up confident in their abilities.
