I am grateful for your words today "That we should be grateful for another’s hope when we have none". I needed these today. The wise men help us on our journey everyday.
Beautiful words today Denise to help relieve me of irritations. I am celebrating Epiphany again today because TODAY it is Jan 6th. My heart is stubborn when the church changes beautiful and important feast days.
I miss the Latin Mass 😢
It was taken away from us in Montana. We are fortunate to celebrate the NO in Latin with our holy priest. I follow both calendars because my heart cannot give up the TLM calendar but it gets messy. 20 C+M+ B 25 pray for us!!
I fully understand!! I always think of Epiphany as celebrated on this day, too! Wouldn’t it be so splendid if the two calendars could be merged into one? I have often longed for that. I follow both as well and attend and honor both liturgies - though my heart is definitely made for the TLM. My husband loves the NO and so I go to the Tridentine low Mass on weekdays and NO with my dear husband on Sundays. He will come to the TLM on special days with me. It’s how it has worked out for us. The one feast that kills me every year, though, is Christ the King. I am torn between one liturgical calendar and the other, alas. You are blessed to have a Latin NO! ❤️

So calming. Quieting. I needed that today amidst the ache and turmoil. Peace.
Blessed feast, Marlene! ❤️
