Thank you, as always. You indeed live on Gerard Manley Hopkins’ viewpoint. And I’m so enriched and grateful. When and if you have time, what book would you recommend to begin with Father Hopkins? Thank you so much.
I read the biography of him by Robert Bernard Martin: A Very Private Life. I learned so much about him and the world he lived in. Others say they liked Paul Mariani’s biography simply called: Gerard Manley Hopkins. I found this one a little disjointed and distracting to the storyline, but others swear by it. So, it might be a matter of taste.
What a beautiful way to look at our world and see the Hand of God in everything, in every detail, in every corner, wherever and whenever we take the time to really see!
Denise - you aren't odd but a Godsend to us! I used to take shots of dew drops on flowers especially when the first rains comes. All the plants, be they planted or wild, all perk up after the rain. They're saying "God has blessed us." At least that's how I view it.
I just love how you write. You leave me thinking: “she gets it.” And even better: “she gets…me!”
Thank you. God bless you, Denise.
Ahh, thank you so much, Anne! Glad it resonates with you!!
