Thank you, Denise, for this lovely article of St. JP II on the Exaltation of the Cross and connection with OLOS. The image of seeing the Cross as a cradle! Wow! that’s so helpful. This article I’m using for my Lectio Divina. God bless you!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🌷🌺🌸

Such a beautiful reflection, thank you for this.

I have come to love this feast day and how Our Lady of Sorrows follows. What a beautiful gift God has given us with Mary, our Heavenly Mother! She gently and lovingly teaches us how to endure sufferings. The Benedictines of Mary Queen of Apostles in Missouri offer an exquisite card for the Our Lady of Sorrows Novena. The front of the cards says, The martyrs suffered much, and died Mary suffered more and lived”. Our Lord knew how much His suffering children needed a Heavenly Mother.

The Benedictines of Mary have recorded some beautiful liturgical music. I especially enjoy listening to their recordings on Sundays.
